Based on feedback from members of our community (based across the 16 regions of Ghana), we realized that most of our members fall under two main categories:

Every 21 September is Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Day in Ghana. This holiday commemorates the birthday of Ghana's main independence leader, first prime minister, and first president, Osagyefo Kwame Nkrumah. It is also a day for people to volunteer in their community.

Prior to TroTro Diaries, commuters were not included in the policy decision making process that impacted them. Following the impact of our community online, we were invited by the mayor of the capital city, Accra to be a member of the action plan development committee for the Pedestrian Road Safety Action Plan (a project funded by Bloomberg...

In 2022, we partnered with Diageo - Guinness Ghana Ltd to run the Wrong Side of the Road campaign which reached over 150,000 people. With over 6,000 pre surveys and 3,400 completed and certified surveys.

TroTro Diaries was selected to be part of the second cohort of the Unicef Startup Lab.

The TroTro Diaries Sanitation project leveraged the power of social media and community to help drive change in the community both online and offline. Through this project members based in Ghana and across the world collaborated to help improve the sanitation situation in Ghana and was featured on national media (the KSM Show)
